Full abstract texts are only published if you gave us permission during registration. Otherwise, only the title, category, authors, and affiliations are published.
The printed meeting booklet on-site does not contain the abstract texts.
Abstract Submission
If you are selected for an oral presentation, you have been contacted until 10th of January. All speakers may bring a poster and will also have a slot in the poster session.
AGAIN IN 2020:
Two dedicated poster sessions will take place on:
- Thursday, 13th of February from 5.20 pm to 6.50 pm. Afterwards, poster viewing can continue during the entire apéro time until 8.15 pm.
- 5.35 pm-6.15 pm odd numbers, 6.15 pm-6.55 pm even numbers
- Friday, 14th of February, 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm.
- 1.00 pm-1.30 pm odd numbers, 1.30 pm-2.00 pm even numbers

Infos for abstract submissions:
- Poster size is A0 (portrait format, height 120 cm, width 90 cm).
- Poster submission is only possible after confirmed registration through our website. Please write your poster abstracts in English. Be careful with special characters, no copy-editing will be done after submission. The maximum abstract length is 250 words. All abstracts must be submitted via the online abstract submission system, incomplete submissions will not be considered.
- Due to confidentially reasons, only abstract titles, authors, and affiliations will be published online and printed in the final meeting booklet.
- Abstracts submitted for posters may be selected for short oral presentations (10-15 min) as part of each symposium or for flash talks (2-3 min) by a scientific committee. If you do not wish to be selected for an oral presentation, please indicate in the appropriate checkbox on the abstract submission form.
- In addition, if you register to the Young Scientists' Satellite (YSS), you may select the option to be considered for a talk also at the Satellite during abstract submission.
- If you are selected for an oral presentation, you have be contacted until 10th of January.
Poster Quiz
NEW IN 2020:
A poster quiz will be run at the FEBS3+ LS2 Annual Meeting 2020.
How does it work?!
- During abstract submission, authors will have the option of providing a question about the science presented on their posters.
- Authors who have provided a question, will find sticker sheet at their poster board.
- After one-to-one discussion in front of the poster, attendees can answer the question to the presenter.
- If the answer is correct, presenter will give a sticker to the attendee for its poster sticker collection sheet
- A 500 CHF travel voucher as prize will be awarded to the attendee with the highest number of stickers!
- The announcement of the winner will take place during the award ceremony session at the end of the meeting.

The poster award ceremony will take place on Friday, 14th of February, from 5.25 pm to 5.50 pm in the main plenary hall.

The poster award session will take place on Friday, 14th of February, from 5:25-5:50 pm in the main plenary hall.
3R Accreditation
We will request the accreditation of this meeting for continuous education in the field of animal experimentation by the Veterinary Offices with the abstracts that we will get for this conference. Abstracts will be treated confidentially.
During abstract submission, you will therefore be asked to provide a short statement about the animal model used and how your project fulfills one or more of the 3R principles.
We'll update you on the outcome, but usually, this meeting gets accredited with 1-2 days.
