Poster Format & Prizes
Poster size is A0 (portrait format, max height 120 cm x width 85 cm).
Update on poster prizes:
To make poster prize selection fair and have the same number of posters competing for a single prize, some of the Sections/Intersections will be merged and poster prizes will be allocated as follows:
Autophagy & Microscopy: 1 prize
Bioinformatics & Systems Biology: 2 prizes
Biophysics & ICMT: 1 prize
Cardiovascular Biology & Proteomics: 1 prize
Molecular and Cellular Biosciences: 3 prizes
Physiology: 2 prizes.
One poster prize in Experimental Pharmacology, given by The Swiss Society for Experimental Pharmacology.
Moreover there will be a prize given by the public for the best poster design!
Abstract Submission
Abstract format and submission:
- Maximum length is 250 words.
- Write your abstracts in English. Be careful with special characters, no copy-editing can be done after submission.
- Abstract loading is only possible after confirmed registration through our website.
- All abstracts must be submitted via the online abstract submission system, incomplete submissions will not be considered.
- For confidentiality reasons, only abstract titles, authors, and affiliations will be available on the program.
- All abstracts will have a spot to hang a poster and will enter the poster prize competition. See more information below.
Options during registration:
- Select a category for your poster in the field "Poster Exhibition". The categories are our 10 sections/intersections + Experimental Pharmacology. This field is mandatory.
- To be selected for a short talk in one symposia: (1) select the “Ok for oral presentation” and (2) idicate your "Preferred Symposia" and (3) "Alternative Symposia" in the corresponding fields.
- To be selected for a short talk during the Young Scientists Satellite: select "Consider for Talk during the YSS"
