Welcome Words
It is our pleasure to invite you to the LS2 Annual Meeting 2022 on the topic “Life Sciences in the 2020s: quantitation, integration and prediction", held on April 21 and 22, 2022, together with the Young Scientists' Satellite on April 20, 2022, at campus Irchel of the University of Zurich.
The LS2 Annual Meeting brings together scientists from all nationality and backgrounds to explore the large spectrum united under the umbrella of Life Sciences. The 2022 edition is organized on-site with all safety measures in place. We know the situation may change from now to April 2022, therefore specific rules will be announced in due term if needed.
The program will include 2 plenary lectures, a symposium organized by and for young scientists with short talks selected from abstracts, our already famous PIs of Tomorrow session, the lectures from 3 awards (Prix Schläfli, Lelio Orci Award and Friedrich Miescher Award), a special plenary short talk "Personalized Health" from the Forum of Genetic Research (SCNAT) and 10 scientific symposia organized by our sections and partners.
New in 2022:
- Short talks in plenary session (8min + 2min) selected from abstracts, with prizes for best talks.
- LS2 Research Slam: flash talks of 3min, in plenary session, where selected speakers will present their research project as if it was for a non-expert audience. This session aims to show the communication skills of participants. There will be prizes for best talks, selected by the public.
- Online posters, on-site networking: the LS2 Annual Meeting 2022 will not hold on-site posters, instead we will have an online platform where the participants will be able to upload the online version of their posters (PDF). The online platform will be open two weeks before and after the event.
Wishing you an exciting time with fruitful discussions before, at and after the meeting.
