LS2 Research Slam
The novelty this year's meeting is the "LS2 Research Slam" contest.
With this contest we want to promote the importance of communicating scientific results to all types of audiences.
How to participate:
To participate, you have to select the option "OK for LS2 Research Slam" during registration and add a sentence of maximum 400 characters explaining in a creative way your research. It should be addressed to all audiences.
Selection:
A jury composed of the scientific committee, along with LS2 Annual Meeting 2022 chair Lydie Lane and LS2 president Didier Picard, will choose a maximum of 10 participants.
Contest:
Participants should make a 3-minutes presentation to present their research project/results as this would be presented for a non-expert audience using any entertaining format that came into their mind. This session aims to show the communication skills of the participants but of course scientific integrity and accuracy is expected.
Prizes:
The best presentations will be chosen by the public and will have a prize donated by one of our sponsors. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Friday, April 22 during the award ceremonies before the closing remarks.
NOTE: the selected speakers have been transferred from the program we built for February. If we have cancellations, the chair could select a new abstract among the old a new registrations.
