Abstracts
All abstracts will have a e-poster in our online platform.
All participants who sent their abstract for the meeting planned in February will have their spot for e-poster in the online platform, they don´t need to send it again.
All new abstracts for the meeting in April will have a spot for e-poster in the online platform.
Abstract Submission
Currently we accept abstract submission for e-poster.
The selected talks will be transferred from the program we built in February.
NOTE: In case a symposium or plenary session needs a replacement due to cancellation from a selected speaker in the program after moving the meeting to April, the chairs could choose a new abstract from the whole list (old and new abstracts) if they consider it necessary to complete their program, therefore, by clicking during registration on the options "OK for oral presentation" (main meeting and/or YSS) and/or "Ok for LS2 Research Slam" you accept that your abstract could be selected, but we will not open a new selection process, we will only try to fill the gaps we may have.
Here are the infos for NEW abstract submission:
- Maximum length is 250 words.
- E-poster loading is only possible after confirmed registration through our website.
- Please write your abstracts in English. Be careful with special characters, no copy-editing can be done after submission.
- All abstracts must be submitted via the online abstract submission system, incomplete submissions will not be considered.
- For confidentiality reasons, only abstract titles, authors, and affiliations will be available on the program.
- Select the “allow to publish” option during registration if you want that your abstract will be displayed on the online platform for e-posters. Only registered participants will have access to the platform.
Look at here to the new deadlines.
e-Posters
The LS2 Annual Meeting 2022 will not have posters on-site. Instead, we offer an online platform were all participants who submit an abstract will have the option of uploading their e-poster (PDF format). All abstracts will have a e-poster, including those who are selected for short talk in symposia, satellite or plenary talk and also those are selected for the LS2 Research Slam.
"Online posters, on-site networking":
- The online platform will be open two weeks before the event (to all registered participants with and without poster).
- All participants will have time to go through all e-posters before the meeting and get in touch through the chat or comment box, you can even arrange a video meeting through the platform. Then, during the on-site event, you can meet and discuss during the coffee breaks.
- All participants with posters will have an extra nametag with the poster number, so you can find them and be found.
- The online platform for posters will be also open two weeks after the meeting, so online discussions can continue even after the conference.
- This format will ensure that our participants stay connected for 4 weeks, instead of only two on-site poster sessions as usual.
Size and format of e-posters:
- PDF format and not exceed 50 MB.
- Portrait orientation at 16:9 ratio size.
- Your e-poster abstract will not be needed on the e-poster. It will be displayed separately on the virtual platform (only from those who gave us permission to publish).
- Recomendation: Keep your e-poster as simple as possible. Reduce the text and make your e-poster as graphic as you can. The online platform will offer you video chat to meet with all participants who are interested on your research, so you will have the option of showing pictures, videos and all relevant information related to your research.
How to load your e-poster:
- All registered participants will receive a personalized link to access the virtual platform, from there you will access to your e-poster area to update your profile and upload the PDF.
- We will upload the title, abstract (those which permission) and author list in the virtual platform. You will only need to upload the PDF.
A detailed e-mail with all the information will be sent to e-poster presenters after submission deadline. If case of doubt, contact us at info@ls2.ch.
